(Undated) - Lawrence Barnett caught a 68 yard touchdown pass from Quinn Schafer before leaving the game with a knee injury as 2A defending state champ Bishop Luers opened its season with a 24-0 shutout of Northrop.

Matt Elliot tossed three touchdown passes in leading Snider to their season opening 21-7 win over South Side.

Wayne struck early and often in handing Elmhurst its 36th consecutive loss 50-12.
