Elmhurst, South Tied In SAC Girls Race After Archers' Upset Loss

(Fort Wayne) - Lacretia Smith and Liza Clemons each had 14 points as Elmhurst put away Bishop Luers in girls basketball Friday night 68-57, despite 20 points from the Lady Knight's Amanda Pedro.

The win moved the Lady Trojans into a tie with South Side for the SAC lead when the Archers fell to surging Concordia 54-41, with Alissa Goeglein leading the way with 17 points.

It sets up the winner take all showdown next Friday for the SAC title between South and Elmhurst.
