South Pummels Dwenger, Luers Thrashes Concordia

(Fort Wayne) - South Side took big step toward taking command of the Summit Athletic Conference boys basketball race Friday night with a 67-56 win at Bishop Dwenger.

Derek Evans led the Archers with 17 points, wbile JerMichael Williams and Lamont Prosser chipped in 13 each.

John Goodman led Dwenger with 21..

At Bishop Luers, DeShaun Thomas again showed the way with 32 points as the Knights buried Concordia 97-48.

Lawrence Barnett backed up Thomas' effort with 19 points.
