Churubusco Nets First Regional Title In 24 Years

(Churubusco) - Brandon Hiatt ran for 191 yards and a touchdown as Churubusco pulled away in the second half for a 28-14 win over Triton Friday night for the 1A regional title.

Cameron Amber passed for one touchdown and ran for another as the Eagles broke a 14-14 tie in the second half after leading 14-0 at the half.

Churubusco will play at top ranked unbeaten Sheridan in the 1A semistate.
