Bellmont, Luers, Manchester, Churubusco, Adams Central Move On

(Undated) - Trent Busse took a third quarter handoff 85 yards for the deciding touchdown to give Bellmont a 14-7 win over Norwell in 3A Sectional 19 Friday night, and the Braves will host Concordia in the sectional final.

Lawrence Barnett ran back a punt 60 yards for a touchdown and Kevin Kiermaier returned n interception 40 yards for another score as Bishop Luers thumped Central Noble 31-7 in 2A Sectional 27 Friday night, earning a date at top ranked Jimtown in the sectional final.

Manchester continued its late season run with a 20-0 win over Blufftion in 2A Sectional 27, moving to play at Cass in the final.

Paul Liggett ran for a score and caught a pass for another in Churubusco's 48-6 rout of Eastside in 1A Sectional 34 Friday night, which sends the Eagles to Adams Central for the sectional final. The Jets blanked South Adams 28-0 as Roger Pickens ran for 77 yards and two touchdowns.
