Fairfield Slips By Churubusco In NECC Showdown

(Churubusco) - Grant Baumgartner ran in the go ahead touchdown from nine yards out to bring Fairfield from behind and on to a 30-26 win over Churubusco in a battle of NECC unbeatens Friday night.

The Eagles rallied from a 14-0 deficit with 19 unanswered points, and then regained the lead in the second half on Janeiro Liinscomb's second touchdown of the game before the Falcons made their final comeback.
