FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - After a little snow in the first part of the day, things have been much calmer through the second half of the day, with some sunshine popping out. Starting tonight, the bitterly cold air is coming back into the area, and temperatures will drop below zero and wind chills will fall into the -10 range. We will stay in the deep freeze through Saturday, and right when we come out of the pattern on Sunday, we are looking at another significant snowfall. There is potential for 6 inches of snow Saturday night into Sunday, and perhaps even more. Next week, things stay cold, but nowhere near the kind of cold we've seen recently.
