FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Usually, you can spot their white and blue state police cars from far off.
But last year, ISP officers acquired new, unmarked, F150s to make sure you're following the rules of the road.
On the inside, it's exactly what you would expect to find.
"They're fully outfitted, just like a police car," said ISP Sergeant, Ron Galaviz.
Galaviz tells 21Alive, nearly every ISP post received one of those trucks, which are primarily used in construction zones. He insists it's not about handing out tickets, but instead, keeping those areas safe.
"We want people to know that we sit in construction zones. That's no secret and we don't want to make it a secret. We want people to know that there's a law enforcement presence there, with the pure intention of getting people to slow down."
