FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – The 10th Annual Brad Miller gala and auction was held Saturday night at the Memorial Coliseum to support Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Live and silent auctions were held and performance artist David Garibaldi, as recently seen on America’s Got Talent, entertained the crowd with a live show.

21Alive sports director Tommy Schoegler served as emcee of the gala.

Former NBA All-star Brad Miller says he’s very pleased with fundraiser’s progress.

“Ten years ago we started at Noble Hawk, a one-day auction, and I was hustling to get signed shoes from guys on the road when we play them, raise some money. [We] made like $20,000. Now we're at hundreds of thousands and ten years later going to crack $1 million, so it feels great to continue something and know that it’s actually helping and doing a great thing,” said Miller.

To date, the auction has raised over $800,000 and is expected to top $1million this weekend after Sunday's golf outing.
