JUNEAU, Alaska (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Officials in Alaska have released over 24,000 pages of e-mails sent and received by Sarah Palin during her first 21 months as governor.

The boxes of emails were delivered to reporters in Juneau, Alaska Friday.

The emails were requested back in 2008, shortly after Palin was picked as the GOP vice-presidential nominee.

State officials say the delay in releasing the emails was because of the flood of request they received and the sheer volume of the emails themselves.
