SOUTH BEND, Ind. (21Alive) - Notre Dame Stadium will see another round of renovations, totaling some $400 million.
The University of Notre Dame announced the Campus Crossroads project Wednesday. The plan includes the addition of more than 3,000 premium seats, which would raise capacity to some 84,000.
Two new buildings that for the Anthropology and Psychology Departments, a Digital Media Center and a Student Activity Center. The buildings will total 750,000-sq. ft. and will be attached to the east, west and south portions of Notre Dame Stadium.
Campus Crossroads renovations will begin in about 2 years, and are expected to take 33 months to complete.
Notre Dame Stadium was built in 1930, and underwent a $50 million renovation in 1997.
