Body Found in River Near Shoaff Park Identified (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The body of a 58-year-old man was found floating in the St. Joe River near Shoaff Park Sunday.

The initial call went out around 11:15 this morning when someone spotted something in the St. Joe River. Officers with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources were on the scene and local police were assisting.

The Allen County Coroner's office positively identified the body as that of Jeffery Bultemeier, 58, from Fort Wayne. The cause of death is drowning but the manner of death is still pending.

Few other details are available, but authorities will want to know if the body is that of a person reported missing about one week ago.
