FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – A local charter school meets to discuss options to keep the school open for this upcoming Fall.

According to our partners in news, The Journal Gazette, Imagine Schools on Broadway held an emergency meeting Friday night.

The sponsor who dropped them, Ball State University, has invited the school and it’s sister school, Imagine Master Academy, to reapply for a charter. But Ball State officials say there are no guarantees their applications would be approved.

Charter schools have many options for sponsorship, including a state board, public and private four-year colleges, and the boards of public schools.

Earlier this year, Ball State decided not to renew the three schools' charters because of poor academic performance.
