FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Like the scene out of a movie a wanted felon leads Fort Wayne Police on a wild chase Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just after noon, when a Fort Wayne Police officer attempted to pull over 30-year-old Michael Barker on Fairfield Avenue for running a red light.

Barker lead police across town and abandoned his vehicle behind the Regal Theatre on Washington Center Road after blowing his front driver side tire. He then fled on foot into a near by wooded area.

A police canine unit was called in and quickly found Barker hiding in the backyard bushes of a home in the 5600 block of Homewood Drive.

No accidents or injuries were reported during the incident.
