ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Criminal charges have been filed against the former board president and soon to be former maintenance operator of the Maysville Water and Sewer district.

Monday morning, the Allen County Prosecutor filed felony theft and corrupt business influence charges against James Perrin.

The first is tied to allegations that Perrin illegally shorted Fort Wayne City Utilities of up to $250,000 over three years for raw sewage.

The theft charge relates to $8,000 worth of materials Perrin bought for the Maysville Water and Sewer Utility that didn't relate to the job. Something Perrin allegedly admitted.
