Indiana’s NewsCenter – Harold Camping, president of Family Radio, says the Rapture will be tomorrow. He also says that the world will be destroyed five months from tomorrow on October 21.
Camping made a similar claim in 1994. He said the Rapture would happen then as well.
Today, Indiana’s NewsCenter met with a teacher of religion at Bishop Luers High School. Meg Hanlon says she doesn’t believe any higher power has spoken to Camping. She says, “Only the father knows when the world is going to end and if you read into scripture, I think that we'll have more signs ahead of time. Why the lord would've revealed this information to this man, I don't know. I don't believe that he has.”
Indiana’s NewsCenter hit the Summit City streets today to meet with people to find out how worried or excited they are for Camping’s claim. From the folks we talked to, there was a resounding feeling that we would all make it out alive tomorrow.
