INDIANAPOLIS (21Alive) -- Indiana State Senator Mike Delph has entered his fourth day of a twitter war debating his views on everything from gay marriage, natural rights, and "the liberal elite Godless culture of self-destruction."
The controversy started Thursday when Delph voiced his frustration that a statewide vote on the ban of gay marriage had been delayed. Delph took aim at members of his own party accusing them of being too liberal or too moderate.
The debate continued on Friday and up to Saturday night when he shifted his focus from gay marriage to natural rights and liberal elitism.
Delph has yet to continue his debate on Twitter today as he stopped around 11:00 p.m. last night. Delph has been teasing that he has a major announcement coming Monday.
Below are some of the controversial tweets that have come from the Senator in the past few days:
@situationgray But the liberal view of rights to clean water, air, a decent job, a house, car, health benefits is a modern perversion.— Mike Delph (@MikeDelph) February 15, 2014
And that folks is our self absorbed Godless culture that is fast tracking our nation to ruin. Point made. Night!— Mike Delph (@MikeDelph) February 14, 2014
