Robbery At Chase Bank (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Fort Wayne Police and K-9 Units responded to a call of a suspicious person robbing the Chase Bank on East State Boulevard around 11 a.m. Saturday.

Police are saying that the suspect robbed the bank and is being described as a white male approximately six feet tall. Reports are telling us that the suspect was wearing blue cover-alls, a mask and gloves.

According to reports, the suspect was not seen with a weapon and fled on foot west bound towards Santa Rosa Drive with a bag and an undisclosed amount of money.

Police are saying that a white Dodge minivan with tinted windows was seen 30 minutes prior to the robbery and may be of interest to police.

Fort Wayne Police are urging those that know any information regarding the incident to call the police department at 260-427-1222 or Crime Stoppers at 260-436-7867.
