FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - To kick off Your Vote. Your Voice. 2014, 21Alive kicks off primary season with the season premiere of Political Radar.

21Alive anchor Melissa Long is joined by Allen County Republican Party chairman Steve Shine, former Democratic Fort Wayne City Councilman Tim Pape and 21Alive reporter Jeff Neumeyer.

The panel discusses Republican and Democratic primary races for Allen County Prosecutor, Allen County Sheriff, Allen County Commissioner and State Senate District 15.

Indiana primaries will be held Tues., May 6 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Voters must declare a party's ballot to vote and present a photo ID to enter the voting booth.

Winners of May's primaries will advance to the general election in November.
