USF Men Win On 'Top Play' Buzzer Beater

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - A rivalry game Tuesday night in the Crossroads League with conference tournament implications on the line came down to a shot featured as a Top Play on ESPN.

Saint Francis beat Huntington 62-60 when the Cougars' Scott Koh hit a 3-point buzzer beater, sending the Hutzell Center into a frenzy on Senior Night.

Kohne scored 11 points. Kegan Comer and Josh Hogan added 18 points each.

Shane Merryman led the Foresters with 25 points and TJ Short added 11.

Kohne's play was sent to ESPN, and won Top Play honors on SportsCenter. It was also the Kelley Chevrolet Drive of The Night on 21Alive sports at 11 p.m.

"They forced me out, and I came back in. I caught it at the 3-point line and threw it up, and it went in," Kohne says.

Saint Francis travels to Goshen College on Saturday at 3 p.m. Huntington hosts Taylor at 3 p.m. Saturday.
