NEW HAVEN, Ind. (21Alive) - New Haven claimed its first ever Northeast Hoosier Conference title Friday night with a 45-20 blasting of Homestead

Ariest Vasquez ran for 188 yards and three touchdowns and added a fourth on a fumble return to pace New Haven

Jordan Hogue added a pair of touchdown catches for the Dawgs, who closed the final NHC season at 6-1, a game clear of the rest of the league.

The league crown is Newe Haven's first since the now defunct Northeast Indiana Athletic Conference in 1987.
