Luers, Churubusco Roll To Regional Football Wins

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Bishop Luers and Churubusco punched their tickets to semi-state in high school football Friday night with regional victories.

James Knapke tossed two touchdown passes, Steve Kiermaier ran for two scores and Kenny Mullen brought a punt back 44 yards to paydirt as Luers pounded Tipton in 2A 55-14.

Kyle Mathewson clicked for 262 yards on the ground with four touchdowns and Kyle Monk added two scoring passes in leading Churubusco to their 58-14 drubbing of Hagerstown in 1A.
