TinCaps Win First, VanMeter Gets Three Hits (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Josh VanMeter and Dustin Peterson combined for six hits and three RBI's in leading the TinCaps to a 5-2 win over the Great Lakes Loons Friday night, their first victory of the season.

Peterson had a double and a triple and drove in two, while VanMeter had a pair of doubles and drove in one, as the two had six of the ten Fort Wayne hits.

Matt Chabot, the second of four TinCaps pitchers, was the winner in relief.

Game 3 of the four game series is at 5:05 pm Saturday.
