TinCaps Pummeled Again By Great Lakes (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Another big inning by the Great Lakes Loons made for back-to-back tough days for the TinCaps, as they lost, 10-5, on Sunday at Parkview Field.

The Loons poured on seven runs in the fourth inning, and went on to win the series three games to one.

The Loons led, 10-0, after four innings, before Fort Wayne bats finally responded in the fifth..

Back-to-back singles by Luis Tejada and Rey Bruguera set the stage for a Mallex Smith RBI double, making it 10-1 in favor of the Loons. Three batters later, Franmil Reyes collected his first TinCaps hit, a two-run single.

The TinCaps did not score again until the eighth, tacking on one more run as Tejada singled home Dane Phillips.

The TinCaps have Monday off before departing on a six game road trip to Kane County and Clinton.
