BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The TinCaps and Bowling Green Hot Rods divided a doubleheader Tuesday, Fort Wayne being the 4-0 opening game winner and Bowling Greem taking the nightcap 1-0.

The stories of game one for the TinCaps were Jake Blackwood and Andrew Werner.

Blackwood drove in all four Fort Wayne runs with a fourth inning RBI double and a sixth inning three run homer.

Werner allowed just one hit in six shutout innings.

Game two was decided when Donovan Tate and Everett Williams collided after Tate had snagged Derek Dietrich's fourth inning fly ball, and the ball came out, allowing Dietrich to circle the bases on what was first ruled a four base error and then later an inside the park homer for the only run of the game.

TinCaps manager Shawn Wooten was ejected for strongly arguing the ball had been caught and held long enough for an out.

Tate and Williams were both shaken up and had to leave the game.

The series continues with a single game Wednesday night.
