SOUTH BEND, Ind. (21 Alive) - The TinCaps squandered a lead four times in an 11-7 11 inning loss at South Bend Sunday.

It was a walkoff grand slam homer by Stryker Trahan that snapped a 7-7 tie to end the game.

Dustin Peterson's two run homer in the eighth inning had put the Caps up 6-5, and his run scoring double in the tenth put them in front 7-6.

But each time the bullpen, along with three Fort Wayne errors, let South Bend get back in the game.

The TinCaps pounded out 18 hits, including three each from Peterson, Josh VanMeter, Adolfo Reina, and Ronnie Richardson, but left 14 men on base.

The four game series wraps up on Monday night.
