South, Snider, Concordia, Luers Girls Nab SAC Tourney Openers

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - No surprises came on the opening day of the Summit Athletic Conference girls tournament Wednesday, with South, Snider, Concordia, and Luers all winning opening games.

Lakeesha Stevens had 13 points in leading South Side to their 72-19 win over North Side.

Meredith Shipman clicked for 19 points in pacing Snider's 67-30 romp past Northrop.

Courtney Smith had 20 points and DeJour Young 16 as Concordia breezed past Wayne 66-44.

Alos on Wednesday, Reimbold had 13 points as Bishop Luers advanced over Bishop Dwenger 55-45
