South Side's Coursen-Carr Signs For Baseball At IU

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - South Side left handed pitcher Will Coursen-Carr has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and baseball career at Indiana University.

Coursen-Carr, an all area pitcher and first baseman, had 122 strikeouts last season as a junior with a high of 16 against Bishop Luers.

Coursen-Carr also had a batting average of .470 with seven home runs and a school record 13 doubles.

He holds school records for strikeouts in a season, and a single game, and has two no hitters in his career.
