South Girls Surprise Luers; Northrop, Snider, Concordia, Norwell, Homestead, Southern Wells Score Wins

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Ariana Simmons scored 13 points and South Side ended Bishop Luers 17 game girls basketball winning streak Friday night with a 54-44 win over the Lady Knights.

Dejoyah Johnson added 12 points for the Archers, while Miracle Woods led Luers with 20.

Aleah Swary had 19 points and Quila Jackkson 16 as Northrop handed coach Doug Curtis his 200th career coaching victory with a 64-62 win over Wayne.

Rosie Lewis shined in defeat with 25 points for the Generals.

Akilah Sims had 29 points with nine rebounds and Meredith Shipman 16 points as Snider pounded North Side 81-31.

Courtney Smith's 15 points helped push Concordia to their 51-42 win over Bishop Dwenger.

Jessica Rupright hit for 21 points as Norwell took it to Columbia City 54-30.

Emily Bley erupted for 33 points and Carmen Lowe piled 20 more on that in Homestead's 88-40 romp past New Haven.

Mallory Preston had 16 points and Sam Rhodes 13 as Southern Wells downed Heritage 58-42.
