Snider Beats Luers, Homestead, North Side, Carroll Win Openers

UNDATED (21 Alive) - Snider, Homestead, North Side, and Carroll racked up wins Friday night to open the 2013 football season.

Jibri Bramley ran for 90 yards and two touchdown as Snider opened defense of its Summit Athletic Conference title with a 34-12 win over Bishop Luers.

Neandre Billingsley and Colton Painter als ran for scores for the Panthers.

Mike Lovett threw for one touchdown and passed for another in North Side's 26-19 triumph over Concordia, offsetting two touchdown passes and a scoring run by the Cadets' David Morrison.

Logan Ormsby ran for 180 yards and two touchdowns and passed for two other scores to pace the 37-28 win for Homestead over Huntington North.

Keenan Leichty threw three touchdown passes for the Vikings.

Drue Tranquill opened his senior season at Carroll with two touchdown runs, a touchdown pass, and a touchdown catch in the Chargers' 55-0 romp over Goshen.
