FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Amber Sieber dropped a short bogey putt on the first playoff hole to outlast four time champion Michelle Smith and win her first Fort Wayne Women's City Golf championship on Monday.

Sieber began the day five shot behind Smith, but played steady golf and caught Smith with a birdie on the 16th hole to even their battle at four under par.

They both parred 17 before Smith missed an eagle putt of three feet on 18 that would have won the tournament in regulation, with both Smith and Sieber ending regulation at five under 214.

Smith then double bogeyed the first playoff hole, allowing Sieber to take the title with her short bogey putt.

Lauren Biedak and Karley Dobis tied for third at 221, two over par.
