FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Demetra Taylor swept both hurdles events and Northrop took both sprint relays in taking the team title at the Northrop girls track sectional Tuesday night.
The Bruins had 158 points to 126 for second place Snider.
Sidra Sherrill helped the Bruins effort with a win in the shot put and a second in the discus.
Other double winners included Dyamond Morris of North Side in the 100 and 200 dashes and Brianna Johnson of Carroll in the 1600 and 3200 meter runs,
Leo's pole vaulting twins, Sophie and Nina Gutermuth went 1-2 in the pole vault.

At New Haven, Norwell edged New Haven 106-105 for the sectional team title.
Wayne's Brionna Thomas swept the 100 and 200 dashes.
At Angola, DeKalb won the team title with 130 points to 112 for second place Westview.
The Barons' Rachel Dincoff won both the shot put and the discus to lead the win.
Westview had two double winners, with Mandy Jones in the 100 and 200, and Skyler Carpenter in both hurdles events.
Abby Hostetler of Fremont won both the 1600 and 3200 meter runs.
