UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Northrop, Jay County, and North Side grabbed opening night 4A boys basketball sectional game wins Tuesday, but Warsaw with star Nic Moore playing hurt was eliminated.
Bryson Scott tallied 24 points to lead Northrop to their 72-64 win in the opening game of the Carroll sectional over Snider.
Nick Lewis led the Panthers with 22.
Warsaw, with Moore playing with a knee brace and at far less than 100 per cent, fell to Concord at Elkhart Central 44-34, though Moore did lead the Tigers with 19 points.
Brock McFarland had 14 points and Kegan Comer 13 as Jay County outlasted Huntington North 53-48 in overtime at the Huntington sectional.
Jalen McGee hit for 20 points and Andy Bachman 19 as North side grabbed a 78-65 win over Marion in the other game at Huntington.
