Leo Remains Perfect; Bluffton, Heritage, Woodlan, New Haven, Columbia City, Churubusco Victors

UNDATED (21 Alive) - Leo, New Haven, and Churubusco moved to 5-0, Bluffton scored a road surprise, and Heritage, Woodlan, and Columbia City rolled Friday night in high school football.

Jordan Hissong ran for 134 yards and two touchdowns and Logan Wood added two short TD runs for Leo in the Lions' 35-12 win at South Adams.

Derek Wanner and Collin Affolder had the Starfire scores.

Mike Pearson ran for two touchdowns and caught a pass for a third as Bluffton won at Garrett 28-14.

Noah Follett passed for both Garrett touchdowns.

Branson Dossen fired three touchdown passes and totaled 285 passing yards as Heritage outlasted Adams Central 33-27.

Nick Roop ran for two touchdowns for the Patriots, while Andrew Hammond threw for two touchdowns and ran for another for the Flying Jets.

Woodlan scored a 32-7 win at Prairie Heights led by a big night from Jaylin Bennett with 260 yards on 45 carries with three touchdowns.

Vance Shearer threw for 308 yards and three touchdown, two of them to Jordan Hogue who totaled 153 receiving yards, and New Haven moved to 5-0 with their 28-7 win over Norwell, who scored on a Piercen Harnish to Reggie Hayes touchdown pass.

Braden Myer ran for two touchdowns as Columbia City rolled up an early 21-0 lead and bested DeKalb 33-12.

Cody Conwell rushed for 151 yards in pacing the 14-7 Churubusco win at Angola that kept the Eagle perfect at 5-0.
