CINCINNATI, Ohio (21 Alive) - Mickey Lang scored on a shorthanded two on one breakaway with under three minutes remaining, and that goal made the Komets 3-2 winners over the Cincinnati Cyclones Saturday night.

Cincinnati absorbed its first loss of the season after a 7-0 start.

Bobby Hughes brought the K's back even with a second period goal to make it 1-1, his first as a Komet, and Chris Auger's early third period score, his fifth of the season, erased another one goal Cincinnati lead.

Lang's game winner was his team leading seventh goal of the season.

Andrey Makarov turned aside 27 of 29 shots for the win in goal.

The K's next game is against Toledo this coming Friday night.
