FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Paul Crowder's power play goal with less than four minutes left in regulation snapped a scoreless tie and gave the Wheeling Nailers a 1-0 win over the Komets Sunday night.

The loss dropped the Komets behind the Nailers into the 11th spot in the ECHL Eastern Conference and further from a playoff spot.

The loss came in spite of the Komets putting 44 shots on Wheeling goaltender Peter Delmas, but none by him.

The Komets next see action Wednesday night at home against Toledo before departing on a two game weekend road trip to South Carolina.
