FORT WAYNE, Indiana (www.incnow.tv) – IPFW reached 20 wins on the season with a 6-5 baseball win over Nebraska-Omaha on Sunday on Senior Day.

A walk-off RBI single from Malcolm White in the bottom of the ninth inning was the difference as the Mastodons improved to 8-12 in Summit League competition while gaining a split of the four game series.

Omaha entered the weekend as the top team in the Summit League with a 10-2 record, and with IPFW taking a split this weekend they put themselves in the hunt for a tournament spot along with South Dakota State, North Dakota State, and Oakland.

The Mastodons will return to action Wednesday against Butler in the regular season home finale.
