Homestead Fares Best Among Local Schools At Girls State Swim Meet (With Video)

INDIANAPOLIS (www/incnow.tv) - Homestead's seventh place finish led area schools at the Indiana state high school girls swim meet Saturday.

Carmel won the team title for the 27th straight year with 397 points.

Homestead built its performance on the third place finish of Carolyn Weigand in the 100 breaststroke, and she also swam on the fourth place medlay relay team.

Bailey Pressey was seventh in the 100 back and eighth in the 100 fly, while Reagan Cook got sixth in the 200 IM.

Carroll finished 18th, and Snider 25th.
