FORT WAYNE, (21Alive) - Logan Ormsby, the Homestead High School quarterback who broke two school records on Fri., Aug. 22, is the 21Alive/Parkview Sports Medicine High School Football Player of the Week.

Ormsby, a sophomore, threw for 421 yards and 6 touchdowns--both school records--in the Spartans' 49-6 romp over Huntington North.

Ormsby works hard at his craft, head coach Chad Zolman says; notably putting the success of the team over his goals.

Ormsby says he understands the magnitude of breaking the records, which were previously held by now Western Michigan quarterback Zach Terrell.
