Former Fury Coach Smart Taking Over NBA Warriors

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Keith Smart, whose first job as a basketball coach was with the old Fort Wayne Fury of the Continental Basketball Association back in the 90s, will be the new head coach of the Golden State Warriors of the NBA.

Smart left the Fury in 2000 to become an assistant with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and served briefly as their interim head coach in 2003.

He was 85-83 in his three seasons in Fort Wayne as head coach and sent 21 of his players to the NBA.
