Dwenger, Concordia, Dekalb Grab Girls Sectional Tennis Titles

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Bishop Dwenger and Concordia scored girls sectional tennis title winning victories on Friday.

The Saints' collection of sisters led a 4-1 win over Carroll in the final at Carroll.

The Rang sisters took the top two singles matches, while the doubles teams of the Maxson sisters and the Stetzel sisters swept those two matches to help Dwenger move to 22-1

Concordia won the final at Concordia 3-2 over Bishop Luers, with the key being wins by bothp of their doubles teams after Luers won two of the three singles matches.

DeKalb won the rain delayed DeKalb final over Angola 4-1.

Homestead and Canterbury were easy semifinal winners at the Homestead sectional and play for the title Saturday morning.
