Baltz Hit In 11th Brings TinCaps Win

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Jeremy Baltz doubled home the winning run in the bottom of the eleventh inning Sunday to push the TinCaps to a 3-2 win over the Clinton Lumberkings in the opener of a three game series.

RBI hits by MaxxTissebaum and Gabriel Quintana in the sixth inning erased a brief 1-0 Clinton lead, but the Lumberkings came back to even the game up in the seventh.

Baltz's game winning RBI was his team leading 18th run batted in of the season and teammates celebrated by both pelting him with a shaving cream pie and emptying a water cooler over him during a postgame interview.

The series continues Monday night.
