Baer Field Honors Two Of Its Own, Racing Goes On (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Indiana (www.incnow.tv) - Baer Field Speedway remembered two members of its racing community Saturday night.

Car owner Blaine Miller and his grandson, driver Jeff Shelmadine, were killed in an accident on I-69 last week.

Shelmadine's 71 car was driven into the Street Stock Feature on the final lap top take a symbolic checkered flag

Both men were also remembered in a memorial.

Oliver Fitzwater won the Late Model Feature, Scott Coe won the Fantastic Sams Modifieds, Mike Mayes the Mini Stocks, and Brian Janes the FWD Compacts for the fifth time.
