FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The regular season of the Indiana high school football season opens Friday with games all over the state.

The Subway 21Alive Tailgate Party returns for a ninth season, starting at Northrop High School for Week 1.

The Bruins host East Noble in non-conference action at Spuller Stadium.

The Northrop Tailgating Club is the biggest student section in the area, and is a lot of fun to start out the season.

"We're proud of it," club president Jack Welty says. "You hear a lot of people out here screaming, and they come out every year."
