FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Days after six fellow Northeast Hoosier Conference teams co-founded a new league for 2015, Homestead High School announced Monday its separate plans going forward for football.
Homestead athletic director Joe Updegrove says Homestead have signed deals with Snider, Bishop Dwenger and Northrop to play four-year series with each school beginning in 2015.
The Spartans also have verbal agreements on four-year series with Bishop Luers and South Side, Updegrove says.
Homestead adds Carroll, Huntington North, Hamilton Southeastern and Valparaiso to its schedule in 2015.
Homestead and Carroll were the two NHC members not included in the new league that combines Bellmont, Columbia City, DeKalb, East Noble, Norwell, New Haven, Leo from the Allen County Athletic Conference and Huntington North from the North Central Conference.
Carroll has yet to announce its post-NHC future.
