Northrop was honored for the its' first Summit Athletic Conference baseball championship in 12 years.
"13-1 (record) was a great run for us in the conference," Matt Brumbaugh, Bruins baseball head coach says. "We've just been fortunate that we had good pitching this year."
Bishop Dwenger's softball team, which won its third SAC title in four years, was also honored.
"They went out and worked hard everyday," head coach Dave Moyer says about his Lady Saints. "They knew to win the SAC, we had to get by Luers and Concordia."
