FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - The 21Alive/Parkview Sports Medicine High School Football Player of the Week had a record-setting performance in Carroll's sectional win Friday night over Homestead.

Junior running back/defensive back Justin Tranquill rushed for 254 yards (Carroll single-game record) and 3 touchdowns. He also caught a touchdown pass in the Chargers' 49-7 blowout in Class 6A. He accounted for a total of 336 yards.

Defensively, Tranquill had an interception, too.

Justin, the younger brother of Drue Tranquill, has made a name for himself in his junior season, and the Chargers know both Tranquill brothers will have a major impact in the postseason.
