South, Wayne, Snider, Northrop, Luers, "Busco All Move To Sectional Finals

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - South Side, Wayne, Snider, Northrop, Bishop Luers and Churubusco all moved to sectional title games with semifinal wins Friday night.

Ariana Simmons clicked for 19 points and Jomani Thomas 14 as South Side won for the 20th straight time in their 66-57 win over Homestead at the 4A Homestead Sectional.

Emily Bley paced the Spartans with 15 points

South will meet Wayne in the final after the Generals smacked New Haven 57-31, led by the 22 points of Imani Moore.

Meredith Shipman had 16 points and Kari Barnes chipped in 13 in Snider's 56-47 win over Columbia City at the 4A Carroll Sectional.

Sarah Opliger and Macie Hinen each had ten for the Eagles

Snider will take on Northrop in the final at Carroll after the Bruins ousted Carroll 45-41 as Aleah Swary topped the Bruins with 14 points.

Carroll was led by the 14 points of Tara Plummer.

Miracle Woods had 16 points and Brooke Ridley ten, including the one thousandth of her career, in Bishop Luers' 63-23 romp over Eastside at the 2A Adams Central Sectional.

That put the Knights into the final against Churubusco, a 31-24 winner over Adams Central.
