FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - Mike Lovett ran for three touchdowns and passed for two others to lead North Side to a 42-16 over Northrop for the Redskins' first outright Summit Athletic Conference football title since 1988.

Nick Cook caught one of Lovett's two touchdown passes and also returned an interception for a score.

The Redskins finish at 6-1 in the SAC, and could only be caught be Snider, but North Side's head to head win over the Panthers gives them the tiebreaker for the title.

North Side last won a share of the SAC title in 1991.
