Luers Wins SAC By Beating Snider; A.C., North Side Boys, South, Concordia Girls Win

FORT WAYNE (indiana's NewsCenter) - Luers clinched the SAC boys title with a win at Snider, while North Side and Adams Central's boys and South Side's and Concordia girls picked up wins Friday night.

James Blackmon, Jr. had 32 points as Bishop Luers charged from a 12 point first half deficit to best Snider 87-81.

Stephen Halstead led the Panthers with 16.

Quilyn Howard-Upshaw showed the way with 14 points in North Side's 58-44 success over Bishop Dwenger.

Maverick Baumer's 18 points topped Adams Central's 55-51 triumph at Blackhawk Christian.

Ariana Simmons score 16 points and Jomani Thomas 14 as SAC champ South Side blew by Wayne 74-47 for their 19th straight win..

Concordia got 25 points from Courtney Smith in their 67-59 win over Northrop.

Aleah Swary paced the Bruins with 16 points.
